Magnus Arrevad

Client Bio: Danish Photographer Magnus Arrevad's 'Boy Story' is a journey through the international, subterranean world of burlesque, cabaret singers and male performers. It was exhibited in London in 2015.

Role: Social Media Consultant

Brief: I was tasked with creating a 5-month social media plan in the lead up to the opening of the exhibition. The client desired for their Twitter feed to act as a primary source of information for the exhibition and, in collaboration with their press efforts, to raise exposure of the project with it's primary audience of culture-driven gay males.

The content strategy focused on promoting the narrative of the exhibition by exploring the male performers featured, sharing press coverage, and informing the audience of key developments as the project neared opening night.   This resulted in significantly increased attention on the exhibitions channel with over 12,000 visits, and referred potential customers to the brands website and store.   In addition the exhibition garnered extensive press coverage including in: The Guardian, I'Oeil de la Photographie, Winq, Visionaire and Vice.
